It is getting really tough out here. More and more metrics and less time and staff to complete tasks. We need to use the association to be our voice with the Board and legislators. We need to log our issues and discuss with the association so they can represent us

I too would like to elevate my concerns about working conditions and how I feel it impacts pharmacist burnout and patient safety.  Does anyone know what are the most effective channels to have our concerns heard by the decision-makers?

The Association would welcome and be happy to have a forum on this topic with any of our members. I think the best way to do this would be to have a zoom or in person meeting to talk about a venue and pathway to work on this while protecting our members from any retaliation. The Association would be happy to present any results from the info we gather both to the Board of Pharmacy, Legislators or even the newspaper if we needed to. Using the email for the association would give our officer, Richard Cohen, you and any colleaagues interest and we could set up a forum for discussion
